Do I need to book to come to the museum?
Time-slot bookings are strongly recommended for exhibition in the main building, identified by a special ticket. Reservations are required for paying tickets, reduced rates and free admission.
It is not essential to book a ticket for the permanent collection, unless you are a larger party (6 or more people).
If you wish to book a cultural activity, booking is mandatory.
Can I change my booking or get a refund?
Tickets purchased cannot be changed or refunded.

Can I book by telephone?
You can book an individual ticket by telephone on +33 1 53 01 86 57 (Monday and Wednesday from 10.30am to 1pm) and pay by credit card (Carte bleue, Visa, Master Card, Master card maestro, Amex).
To book a group visit, write to groupes@mahj.org. You will be contacted shortly.
How long is my admission ticket valid for?
The ticket is valid for a single entry on the date and at the time slot (plus or minus 30 minutes) stated on the ticket. If the time slot is not respected, access to the exhibition stated on the ticket is not guaranteed. If the date is not respected, the ticket is no longer valid.
Can I access the exhibitions with my museum admission ticket?
Two types of admission tickets are available:
The Permanent Collection ticket includes access to the Auditorium Foyer exhibition. Access to the exhibition in the main building is not guaranteed.
The Exhibitions ticket includes access to all exhibitions and to the permanent collection. The time of day of the ticket corresponds to the time of your entry into the exhibition indicated on the ticket. You can continue your visit in the permanent collection or in the foyer.
Does my ticket cut through the lines?
Yes, the ticket allows direct access to the galleries.
Can I get a discount or free admission?
See the list of free admission to the mahJ. The conditions for reductions are indicated in the price heading.
Paris museum Pass holders are admitted free of charge but must reserve a free visit to the collection or exhibitions. The Paris museum Pass, created by Intermusées and gives free admission to 50 other museums and monuments in the Paris area, is on sale at the mahJ ticket office.
HOW TO BOOK
How do I book online?
To book on our online ticketing service, you can make a purchase without creating an account, using a valid e-mail address.
You can also create an account, combining your address with a password, and retrieve your ticket at any time.
Then order the event you want by choosing your price, taking into account the discount and free entry conditions, the date and the time. Check your order before proceeding to payment for paying tickets.
After payment, if you have created an account, a window will open automatically. It gives you access to ‘Justificatif’ and ‘Billets’, which you can download. These documents will also be sent to your email address.
If I haven't received an email confirming my registration, payment or the email containing my ticket?
If you think you have created your account or paid for your order and you haven't received the email, check your SPAM (unwanted messages) inbox. The emails were sent to you from the address ‘Musée d'art et d'histoire du Judaïsme mahj@tickeasy.com’.
If you have not received any tickets, even in spam, please contact the museum ticket office either by visiting the museum during opening hours, or by calling +33 1 53 01 86 57 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10.30am to 1pm, or by writing to us here.
TICKET PRESENTATION
Do I have to print out my ticket?
The ticket can be presented at the museum control on a mobile phone or printed out.
The information written on the ticket, as well as the barcode on the right, must be clearly legible. In the event of a problem, the ticket office can retrieve your order using your email address.
If you are entitled to a discount or free admission, you must also show proof of entitlement (reason for discount or free admission) in addition to your ticket.
How long do I keep my ticket?
During your visit you must retain your ticket safely for production on demand by our representative(s).
How do I find my ticket?
- After booking, click on the ‘tickets’ button;
- or in the attachment sent with the email ‘Your mahJ tickets attached’ ;
- or by logging into your customer account with your email address and password, then in the ‘My orders’ tab which appears when you click on your name, then ‘Tickets’.

I can't connect to my customer account to collect my ticket
Check in the address bar of your browser that you are on https://www.mahj.tickeasy.com/fr-FR/se-connecter.
You cannot access tickets from your customer account at mahj.org (which is the museum website but not the online ticketing).
Once you've checked, ask yourself if you're using the usual email address to access this account.
You only have three attempts to enter your password, otherwise access will be blocked. If your access is blocked, you will have to try again 15 minutes later.
If you're not sure about your password, click on ‘Forgot your password?’ and you'll receive an e-mail containing a link to reset your password. This link is valid for one hour.
